From 20th January to 3rd February  2012 at the European Faculty of Engineering the teaching workshop  „ Selected Problems in  Thermodynamics” was performed.   The workshop was organized for students of 2nd year of all EFE profiles. Workshop was organized jointly by Prof. Amsini Sadiki from Technische Universitaet Darmstadt, Germany , Prof. Andrzej Bogusławski and dr Piotr Pełka from Institute of Thermal Machinery TUCz. The enclosed list of workskhop subjects (link workshop programme) contains the subject areas specified in the curricula of „Thermodynamics” specified for  „Mechanical Engineering” and „Environmental Engineering”. The problems dealt with at the workshop include exergy, gas cycles, vapor and combined power cycles as well as thermodynamics of phase change and chemical reactions. The workshop contained 25 hours of lectures and tutorials,  followed by written test intended to verify the absorption of the workshop contents by EFE  students. The workshop will have its final effect in modification of „Thermodynamics” teaching programme, which will be done by   Prof. Andrzej Bogusławski and dr Piotr Pełka from Institute of Thermal Machinery TUCz.
